pronouns, things, and conjugations

pronouns

there are four base pronouns, on person

  1. nil
  2. ne
  3. (see things)
    • seri tal
    • fire and atei kel

pronouns can be put together to mean the union of them, for example il'tal for "me and them", or ne'tal'kel for "you, them, and that", taking the 'lowest' person (i.e. nil'kel is 1st person)

when a third person pronoun refers to something that hasn't already been named, put -ba after

things

there are three categories of "things" considered in most cases

in union pronouns, the category of the result pronouns follows the precedence of
seri > fire > atei

conjugation

verbs are always conjugated to the subject, and are either in normal form or an extra form

  • first person
    • -ni
    • will form -nil (something you want to do or wish you were doing, there isn't a specific 'to want' verb)
    • intent form -nina (something you have the intention to do)
    • ability form -nima (something you are able to do)
  • second person
    • -ne
    • request form -nei (a request, or polite order)
    • order form -neine (an order, impolite)
    • will form -nele
    • intent form -nene
    • ability form -neme
  • third person
    • seri
      • -tal
        • will form -tala
        • intent form -tana
        • ability form -talma
    • fire
      • -qai
      • ability form -qaima
    • atei
      • -qai
      • cause form -qaila (an action the idea can cause)

with compound verbs, the last verb - before the adverbs - gets conjugated

on self

miro after the verb (and adverb) makes it reflexive, or if there is an object, makes the verb passive

examples

qato tifaletal nil (the cat guides me)
ahe laonei talba (don't greet them)
tiba laleqai miro tifale (the night is brightened(?) by the moon)
