qai'nen oba ("tree sound dragon") are dragons with known relation to the asian (lung) dragons, possessing a symbiotic relationship with plants that let them communicate trough low frequency radio, and weirdly four eyes
lineage
it is known that many of the populations of the americas - from long before sailing - are descendants of asian groups migrating trough the north. not being different with these dragons (if they originated from asia is another story)
although the 'path' of the populations of dragons along the ages certainly passe trough north america, it is yet unknown why there aren't any remaining dragon societies there, as opposed to the groups encountered in central and south america, only being known that there were north american dragons by the existence of ancient marks that implied the passage of migratory societies
environment
the qai'nen oba dragons are encountered trough the central area of south america, in tribes that are settled trough the territories today know as brazil (central to west, most concentration), bolivia, paraguay and argentina (north)
they stay mostly in areas of medium to thick forests, with a varied vegetation of tall and short trees, but especially the regions where the qoi'nen family of plants live, where their radio waves communication have larger range
